Jason Wilcox with fine accompaniment

Michael Kime
American born and Wellington based, jazz guitarist Jason Wilcox presents an
evening of sublime and delightful jazz guitar. Since gaining his Diploma in Jazz
Performance in 1997, Jason has worked with a wide spectrum of NZ and
international artists including Rodger Fox, Paul Dyne, Nichaud Fitzgibbon,
Jennine Bailey, Tom Rainey, Reuben Derrick, Simon Lean-Massey and Stu Buchannan.
Jasons guitar work has been described by the Christchurch Press as "particularly
melodic" and as a vehicle of "genuine musical virtuosity". Jason will be
accompanied by veteran bassist and local jazz stalwart Michael Kime, a musical
combination which has grown and matured over fifteen years. Jason's unique
playing and singing styles are sure to provide someting special for any jazz
listener.
