Clay sculpting & Artistic Pottery

John
began experimenting with clay as a young child in school.
He
excelled in art classes, particularly pottery and sculpting.
After graduating from high
school, John continued creating ,
first just for family and friends.
John
also volunteered for many years as an art
instructor for mentally challenged youth.
After
years of work and an enormous number of art works, finally John has his own Art
Gallery, where he exhibits clay sculptures and artistic pottery.
The
Exhibition is of a wide variety of clay sculpture:
faces
and heads.
Abstract
range of faces and body parts.
Glazed,
oxided, painted or natural clay look.
John works can be found in private
collections in California USA ,Canada , Israel &New Zealand.
The
Gallery also presents other artists work in clay pottery, wood ,painting and
stone.
In the last 4 years the Gallery is
organising and hosting :"The West Melton Art Exhibition" which turns out to be
a successful event each year.
Over the last 2 years, John engaged the gallery in
the performing arts scene after identifying a real need amongst performers to be
heard in a respectable venue which acts as a formal concert hall with somewhat
intimacy and unique atmosphere.
In this area too, John kept the motto of collaboration hosting music evenings
involving performers from a wide rainbow of the music scene from Folk music to
Jazz and Classical music. Each musical genre is presented in a series of
concerts to encourage collaboration between the Performers across the series.
